John Frey – Founding Partner

John has close to 30 years experience providing high-level corporate and financial communications counsel to many of Australia’s prominent private and public companies.

As founding partner of the firm, he is deeply involved in high-end strategic planning for transactions including Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Raisings and IPOs. His recent experience includes projects for Elders Group, Lend Lease Corporation, Suncorp Group, Santos Limited, Lihir Gold Limited, PMI Mortgage Insurance, ATF Services Limited, Perpetual Limited, Energy Developments Limited, Tenix Group Pty Ltd and NSW Treasury.

John has proven expertise advising on senior management restructures and issues, reputation and risk management projects.  Recently he has provided such advice to Lend Lease Corporation, Elders, Santos, Nomura Holdings, National Wealth Management (NAB/MLC), Broadcast Australia and ASIC/APRA.

John is a recognised leader in coaching media, presentation and crisis management skills development programs for executive management and investment banking teams.

John was appointed Director of Cosway Australia in 1983. He has been a member Public Relations Institute of Australia since 1984.

He has a keen interest in photography and is a founding member of the Photography Collection Benefactors Committee of the Art Gallery of NSW.
